Creepy Hotel Experience in Seoul

I was so tight up from work & home stuff since i got back from Seoul, Korea, that i practically didn't had time to update my blogs. That explains the lack of updates for the past 2 weeks. Now that i've settled most of the loose ends, let me relive an encounter i had when i was in Seoul.

Well, it wasn't my 1st trip to Seoul since most of my partners are located there but this time, i flew up to meet a new partner. Since they are situated nowhere near the usual hotel i stayed whenever i was there, we took a new hotel. It was a wrong decision.

Just look at the hotel entrance...
Where in the hell will a hotel block up their entrance glass door with such thing!? We got very paranoid, feeling this is like a love hotel in Seoul. However, it's not, though it does look like one.
Check out the passageway to the hotel rooms. Don't they look sleazy to you? The overall feel of staying there really drove my entire mind crazy, within 4 days.

It wasn't us who plan to stay here but actually our partners who claimed that this hotel seemed to be fine. Apprently, they didn't do their homework well enough. They got so embarrassed when they brought us there & looked so apologetic. What to do, we gotta put up in this hotel for the rest of the days...it then turned out (from another partners i met up personally when i was there) that this is a hotel for travellers. And in Seoul, hotels for travellers means they're not to the standard of those group hotels.

To give this hotel just a little credit, their rooms seems pretty decent and cozy...in a way.
That's the interior of the hotel room & as a matter of fact, the interior of the rooms on every floor are different. It's really just the general feel of the hotel that gives me the creepy & unpleasant feeling to stay in. The room itself was pretty fine.....

And so, the morale of the story is.....DON'T ever choose a traveller's hotel to stay when you are in Seoul if you are one who is more picky over accommodation! Though i'm the type who don't mind cheapee hotels, i hate one who flims up their hotel entrance making it looks like an indecent hotel!

Patriotic? Nails for National Day

Not wanting to look too patriotic for my own country's Independence Day (too dramatic), I decided to just go along with the color theme instead.

Since my country's flag consists of red and white, this is what I had done for my very own Independence Day (National Day), using China Glaze's Salsa and my brandless white nail art pen.

China Glaze Salsa has very nice application, not too streaky and displays smooth look to my nails. I did not regret buying this from my colleague whom was trying to get rid some of her nail polish collection! Great Buy!

The lines are drawn freehand and I am quite proud of myself to be able to draw the lines 80% straight, haha! Shall improve further ^^.

Brunch at Kuishin-Bo

*Below photos are all taken from Olympus XZ-1.

It was our country's Independence Day (National Day) and I decided to bring my native family out for a good lunch. Was deciding on a bunch of buffet restaurants and finally, I settled on a Japanese Buffet Restaurant - Kushin Bo.

Heard a lot of rave about this restaurant since ages ago but never had the chance nor opportunity to dine there. Now here's my chance! There was a wide variety of food spread such as Sashimi, sushi, teppanyaki, seafood, desserts, fondue and many more. My 1st choice had to be SOUP! Yummylicious soup!

The soup was delicious but kinda salty. However, they have hell lots of ingredients in it, that's why its more salty? I quite like the soup though!

Up next, I gotta get my hands on my favourite japanese cuisine and that's Sashimi! Even though i am spoilt with choice of various sashimi, i still can't help but to only devour salsom sashimi, hehehehehe! I also managed to grab some tamago and unagi sushi. :D

My favourite Unagi Sushi!!!
My forever love - Salmon Sashimi!!!!
Too much food intake already so time for some camwhoring moments! ^^
Camwhoring - My mom & I!
Camwhoring take 2!
It was a pity I'd forgotten to take the outfit of the day! What a waste!

I also managed to snap this glutton brother of mine who's indulging in his yummy DIY ice cream. Of course i made one for myself too, not to mention my little princess ^^. Mmmmm, now i'm drooling yet again!

Seafood is also one of Kuishin Bo's signature so how is it possible that we'll give them a miss? Well, i almost did since i don't really take a lot of seafood but thanks to my brother who's willing to do the dirty job of getting his hands dirty, he peeled the prawns for all of us. And i'm not talking about a few, but a mountain high of them!

The mess my brother made after his indulgence in prawns!
Imagine this is not the only plate but the 3rd one! Gosh...

Last but not the least, i took some of their desserts to close my chapter in Kuishin Bo. Though i've tried most of their desserts and pastry, i wanted to take this dessert down in my camera.

Yeah, that's a mango pudding. It looks normal but it tastes better than some of the other mango puddings i come across in a buffet restaurant.

All in all, Kuishin Bo's food is considerably above average but will be better if some of their selections are less salty. Will definitely re-visit again (this time, i want to try dinner buffet!) with my family for more japanese food!

Pastel French Manicure with Polka Dots

I was never one who likes to apply sweet, ladylike nails on my fingers but this time, i decided to go demure & attempt a sweet sweet design on my nails.

Being a french manicure addict, I couldn't help but to go for french tips once again & not to mention my fav DOTS! The purple tips are from Eilanto, while the white dots' from China Glaze's White on white.

This set of design had generated quite a lot of 'Likes' and 'Reblogs' in my Tumblr & as a matter of fact, i think i like it quite dearly myself too ^^.

Looks like i may attempt such pastel colors more often, hehe.
