A Date with 'Hatched'

I always enjoy American Breakfast, especially those that serves great eggs no matter where I go and I'm really glad I can have them, at any time! Thanks to nadnut's recommendation, I brought my family to this restaurant named 'Hatched' one Sunday.

We made our way happily to Evans Road where the restaurant is situated at but was disappointed to learned that it's closed at 6pm on a Sunday. Fortunately, the staff told us there is another outlet at Holland Village! We quickly made our way there cause we were just simply famished!

Frankly, we kinda lost our way for about 15 minutes trying to find where Hatched was and were really at the brink of giving up when we finally found it. If it's not due to the renovation going on in front of Hatched, we wouldn't take such a long time finding it. Nonetheless, we were really glad we found it!

Check out the menu from Hatched! Their menus are so artistically designed :)

Because we were famished, I didn't take a lot of shots around the place but I did take a shot of their counter. After taking a peek at Evans Road's one and the one at Holland Village, I gotta say Holland Village's outlet is more spacious and cozy.

While waiting for our orders to be served, I noticed 2 little eggs on our table and I got all curious...

Hahaha! yeah, they are salt and pepper holders! The owner really made an effort to ensure its theme is all around!

Since I'm already here, I had to order their most popular dish, Egg Benedict! It can be ordered individually and thus, I ordered 2. Come on, eggs always come in pair usually, aren't they?

They look just yummylicious, don't they? They do! What makes them taste so delicious will be the combination of their beautifully poached eggs and bacons. Mmmm....writing this at wee night just make me so damn hungry again!

The portion isn't exactly small and I really doubt my girl would finish a whole plate of eggs, therefore, I ordered a blueberry waffle for her.

She really enjoyed the waffle until we reached the centre portion which the waffle kinda went too soggy due to the strawberry on top of it. Well, It was still delicious though.

My dear hubby ordered another dish but somehow, the picture I took went missing and I couldn't post it up here. His looked really delicious as well and I reproached myself for not checking my phone immediately after taking it. Hmph.

They don't cost expensive and they serve such breakfast-like mains throughout their operating hours, all day! I'm all hands up for this restaurant and will highly recommend those egg-lovers, or American-Breakfast lovers like me to visit Hatched and try their egg dishes out. I go a really long way just to patronise and sample their egg dishes. For one, I am really relieved to like their food or I'd have wasted my trip (from Northeast to West)!
